2023-2024 TOTSOCE Kick Off is here!

Did you know 1 in 4 people in Ventura County is Food Insecure? Join us Wednesday 10/11 at 6pm at the Food Share Offices (4156 Southbank Rd., Oxnard ) for the 2023 TOTSOCE Kick Off Event. We will tour the facilities and then pack a few bags of food.  Families can participate by collecting non perishable food all month and bring the collected food to our November meeting.  Don't forget to weigh your food and email your total to the Community Service Officer.  Can we beat our 2,166 pounds from last year? Information packets were handed out at the meeting on Monday. If you need to print more door knockers or thank you cards they are under Member Resources. Members earn 1 hour of community service for attending the even and helping to bag food. They can earn additional hours for distributing the door knockers and collecting food during the TOTSOCE event.   Are you Trick or Treating?  How about Trick or Treating so Others Can Eat and passing out bags with door knockers at the homes you are trick or treating at?

2022 TOTSOCE: We surpassed  our club goal of 1,500 pounds and collected a whopping 2,166 pounds of food this year for the Trick Or Treat so Others Can Eat food drive!

Community Service is a big part of our club culture

We believe in the importance of giving back to our community in a variety of ways. Our youth members identify needs in the community and then come up with a plan to meet those needs. Our members participate in community service activities at the club level and during individual project meetings. Our club has participated in many community service projects. Some of our past community service projects include:
